Yeah, 433. The edema is pumping back up on my legs. I also have not been the best recently on my diet. And, with my feet still bothering me there has been nothing resembling exercise.
I'm not giving up. I'm just watching hopes of breaking 425 before seeing my doctor vanish on the horizon. Too bad.
On the bright side, even when not sticking to my diet, my portion control has been on, on, on! (Frankly, my portion control has come down to "Wow! I feel full!" after comparatively little food.) Little victories.

Sorry to hear about that, your last few posts have been so positive about it as well.
Is this adema something that can ever go away? I've always been terrified something like that could have\can hit me someday.
I'm sorry dear. You've been working so hard. But you know what, you've gotten something out of it! you've gotten your portion control set and that is not something to just dismiss! many of us STILL struggle with that.
I really hope that this calms down enough so that you can start walking again. 425 is SO CLOSE! *hugs* I wish you the best. If I can be of any help let me know
G - indeed, my type of Edema is something that can and does go away. However, it will take time and work. My case is partially a function of the lack of circulation from diabetes and a lack of exercise. Funny, the lack of exercise also led to the diabetes. The lack of exercise led to putting on weight which led to the diabetes. The diabetes led to putting on even more weight. The extra weight leads to sore, strained muscles & joints, so I exercise less. Etc. Ad nauseum. Isn't it a lovely, vicious circle? :)

SGG - thanks for the support! I'm certainly not dismissing finding my full meter. That's a very big, unusual thing for me. When I look back at the portions of food I used to toss back, I'm amazed. The weight is no shock viewed through that lens. I think getting to this point means I'm finally on my way to permanent weight loss. It's been a long time coming and I'm excited to be on this path. A little edema isn't going to scare me off!
I might chop off my feet ... ;)
Put the axe down!! You may need those feet someday. :) Seriously though - good job on the portion control. The weight loss will follow....slowly but surely! :)
